Our Vision
We praise. We preach. We empower.
WE PRAISE. We exist to lift the name of Jesus first and foremost! We shout, we dance, we sing, we clap, and we are exuberant. WE PREACH. We exist to preach the truth of His word. We preach with passion and we are people of volume! WE EMPOWER. We exist to see lives changed by Jesus and we empower people through the preaching of the word.
Our Mission
Find them. Free them. Fill them. Form them.
FIND THEM. We are committed and convicted to win the lost through relational evangelism, recognizing it as the calling and responsibility of every believer. This isn’t an event; it’s a lifestyle. FREE THEM. Once a person is saved, they undergo a process of deliverance where generational curses are broken, sins are confessed, and freedom is experienced. FILL THEM. After they are found and freed, we encourage new believers to be filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. FORM THEM. The next step is ongoing; forming people by reframing their minds through biblical discipleship.
Our Values
We have a Biblical worldview.
We believe in Biblical truth, the infallible Word of God. It is the standard by which we live. All its principles are both true and practical for modern day living.
PSALMS 19:7. “The Law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul….”
We filter our life through God’s Word. Everything we do and see is judged through this viewpoint.
PSALMS 119:105. “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet…”
We are passionate.
We praise, pray, preach, and push with caution laid aside. We are not a dead church. We are an exuberant and expressive people.
We lean forward into all that we do. We refuse to sit back and spectate; we stand up and participate.
PSALMS 69:9. “Zeal for your house consumes me…”
We believe in deliverance.
We are free to set captives free. Freely we have received, freely we will give.
JOHN 11:14. “Loose him and let him go…”
We expose, expel, and evict hell’s agenda. Period.
MATTHEW 17:21. “Nevertheless, this kind goes out by prayer and fasting…”
We are diverse.
We are not one people group. We are diverse in color, age, culture, creed, education, and economic status.
We are intentional about learning from each other; unifying as one people group. Therefore, we are open-minded and patient with others not like us, leaning into the idea of learning from “different.”
PSALMS 133:1. “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”
We embrace revival culture.
We are a people that believes in the manifestation of the Holy Ghost without weirdness.
We are a people of Pentecost with excellence.
MATTHEW 3:11. “…And [Jesus] will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire.”
We are a people of honor.
We aim to honor all people groups: God’s man, God’s people, God’s order, and all lost people.
We honor how we join a church, and we honor how we exit a church. We don’t dishonor the church we left and we leave this one honorably.
1 PETER 2:17. “Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.”
We walk in humility.
We don’t believe anyone has arrived. Preferring others above ourselves is entry-level Christianity.
We talk to others from a place of humility and kindness, even if it demands directness.
1 PETER 5:5-6. “All of you clothe yourselves with humility towards one another, because God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
We give.
We give our time, talent, and tithe because everyone has something to give.
We are generous because generosity begets generosity; we know we will reap according to how we give.
2 CORINTHIANS 9:6. “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
We strive for excellence.
We are a world–class people, punctual but not perfect.
Excellence is a spirit, and we embody it. It compels us to do our very best with all the gifts and abilities God puts in our hands.
DANIEL 6:3. “Daniel was preferred above presidents and princes because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”
We are genuine.
We are real, authentic, and true by valuing everyone who walks through our doors at Lifegate Church.
We don’t view people as opportunities, we don’t possess wicked motives, and we are genuine in our agenda.
TITUS 1:15. “To the pure all things are pure…”
We are a people of integrity.
We are who we say we are and we do what we say we do. Our word is our bond.
We are committed to owning our mistakes when we drop the ball or lack follow-through.
PROVERBS 10:9. “Whoever walks in integrity walks secretly, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”
We serve.
From the Pastor to the child, Lifegate Church is dedicated and committed to putting on an apron and serving God, His house, and all people.
We fill gaps consistently. Where there are gaps, the people shall fill them.
MATTHEW 23:11-12. “The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
